If you’ve never made use of mobile mechanic services before, here are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions.

Do you charge for travel time?

No we charge a R200 call-out fee in the Sandton area, outside of this radius there is an additional fee dependent on the distance from our headquarters in Dunkeld.

Do you need to be a member to call for assistance?

No. You don’t need to become a member, there are no ongoing or monthly fees. We charge you a call out fee which is deductible from the cost of the vehicle repair. In other words we only keep the call out fee if you do not have the vehicle repaired by us after diagnosis.

What is the warranty on your work?

We believe in getting it right the first time! For your peace of mind we offer a 6 month guarantee on labour. The warranty on parts depends on the supplier, we will inform you whenever a part is purchased of the manufacturer’s warranty.

What are your operating hours?

Our operating hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, 5 days a week. The first booking is at 8:00am and booking time are every 2 hours thereafter, workload dependent.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, direct deposit or EFT. All payments are to be finalised at completion of services.

Will I know the cost before your repair? Will I be shocked with a huge bill after work is completed?

All work is estimated prior to commencing repairs/services and you are totally in control of the repairs/service you decide to proceed with. You will get a quote before we proceed with repairs so there won’t be any nasty surprises in your bill.

Are you a break down service alone?

No. While we do breakdowns, we are not solely a breakdown service. All repairs/services must be booked in and we can get there ASAP if required. We do all mechanical and all auto electrical repairs, whether its broken down or not, at your home, office, work or roadside.
